August 24, 2017

Well that was a summer.  I think all told I played about 65 shows in 80 days across Europe. All of which I documented in my tour diary.*

I'm writing you from Cape Cod, Dennisport to be more specific. If you don't know where that is, imagine Cape Cod as an arm sticking out of Massachusetts and we are just before the elbow. Tracy and I are sort of relaxing. Well, it is very relaxing here - we can see the ocean as it's only about 50 yards away and there's a nice seabreeze blowing in the windows. I've been hard at work here and staying out of the sun** updating websites, cataloging shows, booking new tours and scheming for the next release.

It's going to be September when we get back to Southern California and we have a few shows coming up there as well as a run up the West Coast all the way to Portland, Oregon in November and then a benefit I'm organizing in New Hampshire in December.***

Tracy and I are almost done with a new Leaves on the Wind cd and we're playing a Can't Stop The Serenity event on Sept 17 in Irvine, CA.  We are also 4 songs into a new album that we've tentatively titled "Making Wishes on the Satellites".

This week and a half "off" is the most "off" I've been in a long time and I'm going a little stircrazy.  It's been almost a week since I've played a show and I don't know what to do.****

*No link to tour diary yet but it is on my facebook page
**Never trust a tanned musician.
***Because everyone should go to New Hampshire in December.
****Technically it's been 5 days.
